The Shadelands Steering Committee will be hosting the all-community summer festival, Made in the Shade, on Sunday, June 25, 11am–3pm, on the campus of the Shadelands SportsMall, 2640 Shadelands Drive, Walnut Creek. Free and family-friendly, Made in the Shade will feature live music, food trucks, craft beer, exhibitor booths, and sports activities. Based on the success of our 2022 Made in the Shade event, we expect several thousand attendees from a wide cross-section of the region at our 2023 Made in the Shade festival.

In addition to bringing the community together to celebrate summer with a fun, outdoor event for the whole family, Made in the Shade serves to:

• Increase exposure of the Shadelands business & lifestyle center to local and regional developers, business owners, and consumers
• Promote Shadelands businesses and nonprofits to local and regional populations
• Create networking opportunities for Shadelands businesses and nonprofits
